Enigmatic is an adjective defined as resembling a puzzling or inexplicable occurrence or situation, perplexing, mysterious. When dealers are referring to their books to determine the value of a vehicle on which they wish to bid, there seems to be an enigmatic result between what the books say the vehicle is worth and the selling price.
